The owner was really friendly. She was patience to give us road directions on how to reach the places.
The rooms and common areas are clean, beautiful and cosy and they gave us a real homey feeling with a luxurious pleasure.

What more can I say. I have been staying at Matts Rest for the past 6 months and have felt so much like family it is almost unbelievable. From the family Cat Felix, to the staff. Their concern is your comfort and Happiness. Michelle is so special and is always ready to help you with your daily requests. Rita your evening meals are so special, I enjoy each and every evening. To everyone who would like to experience "HOME" away from home, Matts Rest in Pietermarizburg must be the guest house / B and B of choice. Thank you Grant, Rita and Michelle for making my long term stay so much easier.

Great place! We could only stay one night, before our plane leaved. We were well received and the personnel was super nice and friendly to us!
