I have been living in RB for a year to date and found out about MACS fish and chips, initially my experience was wonderful, however of late have had shocking service, long waits even though I was the only person in the store. I believe that the oil for frying is not being changed as regularly as it should and all food bought there has an old oil taste. I do not normally complain and am pretty easy to please, however I believe that it should be know to the owners as if there are no reports they will never know and will find that their numbers of clients will drop. One of my friends that was a regular customer has also complained that they are not happy with the service or the food at this stage

Macs Fish & Chips makes the best fried Hake and Chips, ever, period. I ask for my chips crispy, as they come soft if you don't ask. If you like your fish and chips then this place won't disappoint. Only R65 for a large piece of Hake.
