Such a great place, you arrive knowing that there is something different about this place.
You drive through the plains of the lodge with animals and buck running through the land.
The rooms were sufficient for the price charged, the restaurant and staff were very accommodating.
And above all the lions roaring in the background throughout the night was awesome.response / report this review -

First visit to Lionsrock just outside Bethlehem, follow signboards carefully! An abundance of buck and antelope species, huge reserve that does amazing work for predators in peril!! Heart warming environment!

The game drive was beautiful. Though we dnt see a lot of animals due to the hot weather neither less twas worthwhile. We even got a tour of their rooms, will definitely be back n book accommodation de. One of the best places I've ever received such great hospitality

Amazing place with lion and tiger rescues from circuses and zoos in Europe. I haven't stayed there but the chalets look very comfortable

Beautiful setting. Dog friendly with a dog sitter if you'd like to leave your pet behind whilst shopping in Clarence or game driving. Friendly atmosphere and staff. We'll be back to visit soon as it's only 3hrs from jhb.

Beautiful place,quiet and serene.Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is excellent and off peak prices are really affordable. Would recommend it for a couples getaway..

I loved everything about the place. Friendly staff, professional approach, respect and appreciation for customers. And the work they do for big cats, amazing!!! Not to mention listening to the lions' roar during the night. I will definitely come back and I will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Lionsrock for great experience. U deserve a 5star rate.

Order the Steak!!! Beautiful! And there's 83 Lions in the sanctuary. Feeding is done twice a week and is a must see

Big cat sanctuary near Bethlehem. Wonderful rescue centre. Well worth a visit. Tours are very reasonably priced & most informative. Over 100 big cats rescued from zoos & circuses all over the world.

I visited the place earlier on this year. On departing they offered I should contact them for better rates for my groups. I have now enquired 3 times with no reply. So who needs them anyway, lots of other places to take my groups . . .

Beautiful setting although accommodation is over priced. Cramped rooming and limited menu variety. Bar area is very good and the animals are well taken care of.
