  Fantastic if fairly simple food. Menu is as expected from the area, mostly food from the grill.
  
  Occasionally shuts for private functions.
  
  Sits in a gorgeous location on the river which has fantastic wildlife, lots of Jacanas wading on the water hyacinths which unfortunately dominate the river.
  
  Service is not the best, usually slow - even by South African standard.

  Looks a bit tired from the outside but turned out to exceed my expectations. Pity next to the river full of weeds. The room was very good inside nice and big well furnished and comfortable.
  Suprised the food in resturant so good and reasonable.
  Good place to stop at if you are passing by.

  Do not drive pass. We have made use of this restaurant for some years and it has never disappointed. The food quality and service is excellent.
