Don’t ever go to leaves lodge and spa! Their therapists steal your jewelry and take no responsibility. My Pandora was removed from my arm after I didn’t want to and then just disappeared into thin air.No responsibility taken!

Leaves Lodge and Spa is worthy of it's 5 Star rating. What an amazing Romantic venue for couples who want to spend some special time in one another's company. The views are magnificent, and the bush is close to the lodge. One never get's the sense that you are in the bustling city of Mbombela. Rooms are immaculate and supports the romance. Our bedroom had a shower and bath en-suite. A stocked barfridge, kettle, microwave, iron and ironing board. For the ladies.a hairdryer. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. A swimming pool and jacuzzi is available for those who want to take a splash. Leaves also has a Spa.booking is essential. I would not recommend the Main lodge for parents with children younger than 12 years of age. However, the Lodge does cater for families.

Very easy to find. Breakfast on a balcony overlooking a lush forest of trees. Rooms are spacious and the staff very friendly.

I'm not pleased with the service of the spa I made an appointment for my parents to enjoy a spa package. I was never informed that they should arrive earlier than the appointment time, regardless they arrived 5 min before the time and never received the extras I paid for because they were late..Instead they were offered a different alternative than what I paid for at an extra cost??
I fail to understand that u had enough time to do the alternative but not the extras I paid for

Not very impressed with the reservation of the room. We booked the Aloe room but when we got there, they reserved us in another room which was extremely small and in a construction site. The lady at the front desk said we must let her know if we like the room we were given, if not, she will upgrade us to another room for a price. This seems to be a scam!!!
A couple of hundred rand later, we were upgraded to a very nice room.
The staff were great and treated us very well.

A nightmare from hell We arrived Christmas eve 15h00. Tired from the long drive we rested a bit then went to my sister for dinner. I called and asked for a room like I had booked from the photos on the website. I was called back by the owner Thys delange. He said his name was John. I told him I wanted a decent room. He called me a f. b. and said if I did not like it I could take my stuff and leave. He already has my money. Our room was awful, small, also had a sewage smell. The only Nice looking part was the reception area. Quite impressive.
Obviously a narrsasistic entitled delusional male who has no idea how to deal with clients. NEVER would go back.

staying at this hotel was a nightmare this past weekend, we didn't get to stay in the room that we booked, apparently they don't reserve rooms for people , we booked fig room but we were given Floral room, which is close to a smelly toilet and you can smell it from the inside your room, we were not happy at all, and when we complained the manager told us that the room that we wanted was already taken by a group of people, and can only be moved to another room with additional money of 300, which was not fair towards us, bad service I would not recommend it to anyone.
