Best entrance out of the two! Mondeor entrance allows you to get up and in those trails as soon as you arrive!

This Nature Reserve is such a gift to Joburger's and being situated less than only 10km south from the noisy city.. the nature reserve offers a few hiking trails through the park which more often runs alongside the kliprivier stream which flows throughout the reserve and supporting a diversified species of plants, birds, insects, monkeys, blessbok, impala, zebra, wilderbeest, etc Sunday's see the nature reserve most frequented by family's as well as hikers.. the reserve has two entrances.. The Mondeor entrance provides lovely picnic facilities whilst the Kiblerpark entrance only offers safe parking and toilet facilities.

Stunning nature reserve tucked away in the southern suburbia of Johannesburg. Offering hikers and trail runners a piece of nature in the midst of the concrete jungle. There is plenty of bird species, insect life and mammals to be seen, such as Zebra, Wildebeest, Springbok and even Klipdassie. The trails are very well maintained and clearly marked. The reserve also has numerous points of interest which include historical and archaeological locations.

Clean and convenient nature reserve, parking can be problematic. Coordinated guided walks, wildebeest, zebra etc can be seen in park.
