Excellent family venue. Lots of activities for the whole family and esp. Kids. Driving range, car wash, rides and animals. Lovely braai area and lots more.

What an awesome place to get your 'healthy on' 😊 An absolutely beautiful venue for a braai, picnic or kiddies party. Rietvlei Zoo has since become my Saturday morning venue for my early morning walk. 🏃

Lovely family venue close to Johannesburg City. Lots of activities for all ages. The wide open spaces make you feel as if you are in the country side instead of the city.

Wonderful place to spend the day picnicking with the family. Enough space and activities to keep kids occupied and its set in a tranquil nature surrounded environment that makes it all the more worth a visit. A perfect outing in a concrete jungle.

We as a household family of 11 , ageing from 5 years to 86 years. Just love spending the day here. For my granny, it brings back day's wherein she lived on the Farm. For our little 5 year old, it's time for him to learn about animals and what they eat and their wonderful sounds.

Good venue for fitness enthusiasts. Walking, running and cycling. Nice because you can bring your pet with. Check website for weekend events, because then it can be quite busy!

Good place for mountain biking. They have various trails from beginners to more advanced riders. Good food stalls for after the ride.

A new venue opened up with regards to the phenomenon that is Parkrun. Parkrun As a rule offers a 5 km measured route and is free to all participants you choose to take part in this lifestyle choice. All runs are weekly on Saturday mornings starting at 8 a.m. sharp. This one in particular has stunning views is fairly challenging with limited climbing. And you only do one loop. Remember to register at parkrun.co.za and print out and bring along your barcoded Park run ID.

Ample parking. Wide paths make running easy. No single path ruts to twist your ankle and passing slower runners also not a problem.

Lovely 5km trail run. Sometimes deep mud after heavy rains. Don't bring your best running shoes.

I go run, my car through the car wash and at the same time have a haircut and perhaps a nice boerrie roll at Nev's boeries afterwards. Nice place to visit. Lots to do
