Very clean & safety is nothing to worry about cause next to the stadium there's a metro police station. A very good welcoming community, l will like to see big marches playing there in future, I think if you are a umlazi resident we should give more support to the home team every time they play there. If we support the home team, we will give raise to the stadium & the township, cos we are really struggling in terms of putting our umlazi teams in the premiere league. Umlazi is the 2nd biggest township in SA but those are statistics, the issue is with the guys who are payed to develop the umlazi or should I say KZN football. We are behind & no one who seems to take this to consideration & put our football in the big picture. We have great playing in KZN, it just that they run to those clubs in other provinces & I won't blame them we all want greener fields. The thing is when is our turn, when our fields will become greener & take our umlazi football to another level.

King Zwelthini stadium is the one an only stadium in the township of umlazi, it host both premier soccer league matches and 2nd devision games. The stadium has outer fields for use by the locals for gym, exercise and soccer practice, there is also a tennis court and a basket ball court and a police station on site. The stadium is named after the Great Zulu king who is the current king of the Zulu kingdom.

King Zwelithini Stadium its a great Township Sporting facility it is extended to Zinto Cele Park and Victoria Mxenge Indoor Sports Centre!
