Previously loved the place but so many changes. It ain't the same. They need to attract the right crowd that's there for the love of horse racing. Food, services & events in general needs a change for the better.
Very disappointed with the whole experience.
From the arrival to having the drive over bad roads to parking on the dirt
Then as attending a festival, with the cue be two and half hours long
And in this time seeing only one race
Recommend better promoting of races and explaining betting
Love the horses!!! Lush grass lovely vibe. Went to the market to see what's happening.
The freedom to be you. Very family orientated. Prices a bit steep for drinkers 😂
Great fun for the big annual meeting called the Sun Met this year hosted by Mumm champagne. Everyone was decked out in their colourful finery. Facilities on course were ranged to suit every budget. Hence the rating. However, the rest of the time it's quiet, uncrowded and rather dull.
Had an awesome day through the 4W event introducing us to the world of horse racing.
Year end function took place here. Catering was great. Delicious food. Roast lamb was tender and tasty.
I love this spacious area and the events held there are not always only exclusive. great place for family, friends and dogs
This place needs more / better ATM'S can never draw money here all the times I've been :(
always a nice buzz around when they are racing
The glory days have been long gone
Been here for the sun met. This place is amazing! I do suggest a pool should definitely be added for the crazy white folks who love water.
A nice race course, has a well maintained endangered wetlands area within it.
Great facility. HoweverService delivery to punters needs plenty of attention Lack of competent friendly staff.. Lack of enough betting Windows open on race day.. inability to improve or attract people to the venue.. Atmosphere lacks the excitement and vibrancy Has the Doesn't seem to care about punter atmosphere. Needs forward to find ways attract punters back to racing Needs to attention to punters and a show they care about them and that they important Stop gimmicks as an attempt to attract people but to attract punters and racing enthusiast Make people want to attend races because its exciting and vibrant and because you want them there.. Bring true professionalism back and make each race day as important as the big race days.. Make the punters day at the race course and his experience a unforgettable day I love and enjoy watching racing but we need to improve the quality and spectacle of racing Rather fewer race meetings with more horses in each race.. 20 horse fields for sprints.. 16 horses over distance.. Quality competitive racing more exciting more vibrant more attractive than 8 races with 5 horses competing..
The Sun Met is so much fun to watch there ! Great facilities
A nice place but could do with some better up keep
Kenilworth Racecourse is a clean environment with friendly, professional staff Just one thing that doesn't make sense; Why oh why the old mini TV's? Update to at least mini HD Ready monitorsNot too expensive & it'll look modern & stylish as well.
Wonderful venue, great racing but so very disappointed with the overpriced meal in the Somerset Room. Always used to recommend the catering at Kenilworth but today it failed hopelessly. We are still waiting for the soup on the menu and as for the sinewy beef you had to make yourself in a roll as your main course, it does not bear thinking about. Absolute rip off this time nothing to do with good catering and food - standards have dropped drastically, how very sad. The food manager seemed to make a gap for it, for obvious reasons!!!
I went here for the food trucks on Wednesdays, so I can't say much about the actual race course. However, the food trucks were great! I would recommend it for anyone in the area.
