Ordered the Ostrich Trio and the Chateaubriand (Beef). Absolutely delicious and service was very friendly. If you do decide to visit I highly recommend you try either ostrich, crocodile, lamb or beef, as the area is known for delicious ostrich and lamb meat.

We visited the restaurant on this Tuesday had the hake and calamari, lt had a rubbery texture. My girlfriend had a "grilled" hake that was prepared in the microwave for sure. The reception was really really bad But their burgers were good. I expected a bit more of the place. Service was weak, no salt and pepper on the table and had to ask twice fir the bill

Ostrich burger was delicious but unfortunately service was terrible. Do not come here if you don't have at least 3 hours to spare, service is super slow. I ordered a drink but got a different one because the one I wanted wasn't cooled. Ordered starters but they came with the mains instead of beforehand (you know, to START the meal like a STARTER should) and one was forgotten but by that time we had waited so long already that we weren't in the mood to order another one. Then waited forever for dessert which was literally ice cream with a bit of chocolate sauce. Terrible experience. It's really a shame because the burger was so good.

First time visiting Karoopot and what a pleasure it was. Service was good, food was amazing. Just love the atmosphere here. Prices are decent and we will definitely be back.

Good variety on the menu.. pleasant atmosphere and small dog friendly. Had Ostrich steak which was well prepared a tasty. Sundays have a buffet lunch which seems popular with locals.
