  Surprisingly good seafood and sushi. Prompt service and a good atmosphere with warm decor. Both managers briefly came to the table over the course of the meal. Food was well presented and tasty. Sushi chef seemed to know what he was doing, I don't eat sushi though. All in all I would recommend for a nice easy and inexpensive seafood treat.

  Waited an hour only to be informed that the sushi rice is finished and that we would have to wait another 30 minutes for our food. Absolutely ridiculously poor service. It was my friends birthday and this was certainly not how we intended to spend the night with her. The manager was kind enough to give us the few drinks we ordered on the house but we still felt terribly robbed.

  Good Day, we bought 2 x platter for 2 and 1 x platter for 1 today from John Dory's. We are very disappointed as the content of the platters where drenched in oil and the Line fish included in the platters tasted as though it had gone bad. We will not be visiting any John Dory's again as we have had a similar experience in the Gateway branch as well.
