Never been so disappointed their strawberry daquari was a mess slimy with no alcohol only to find that it's premix sies I thought the food will be better but also so disappointing their calamari was dry and rubbery fish was full of bones and hardly fried. I've never been so disgusted and I've never written a review about anywhere but felt I had to for this place I'm so disappointed and am never going there again.

Visited Kevin and his fantastic team at Kloof branch tonight and left overwhelmingly satisfied! Chico served us with friendly and excellent service! Dining with 3 small children, there was a sence of urgency which we appreciated! Well done to Kevin and his team for outstanding service and quality! We will most definitely be back!

Service was slow & inadequate. They only had one waitress for the whole restaurant (though it was quite empty). The lady also had an attitude.

Food was quite disgusting. Never ever go to a fish place (that's supposed to specialise in fish) that has just as many meat options as fish ones.
Our whole table hated their food. Distasteful. This is one to SKIP!

They seem to be very short on staff tonight. No one to greet you at the door and show you to a table. We watched many customers stand at the door then leave.
Garlic cheese roll starter took 30min to arrive and the mains took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the table. Even getting the bill was a 15 minute wait.

Otherwise the food was good and very tasty.

I have a loyalty card with John Dory's and had received an sms with details to redeem a voucher within the month of March for my birthday. I love seafood and their superb chicken livers so it wasn't hard to find a reason to dine at the Kloof branch. Service is friendly, food perfectly prepared and I often indulge in oysters when I feel like a treat. Great that the loyalty card comes with a real benefit, see you again soon manager Prince.

They often mix up our orders. The last three times we ordered the chicken salad they forgot to include the sauce. Apart from that, the food is good, but it's the last time we are ordering from them.
