Very quaint cozy cottage with very friendly owners who are eager to make the stay as good as possible. Excellent food and comfortable clean rooms.

We had a great afternoon and enjoyed the lunch. The staff is well trained and helpful and the owners are very hands on. The place has an old farmstyle charm and the views from the garden are spectacular.

Please do yourselves a favour and stay away from this Over the Mountain Guest Farm tea garden for we received very poor quality of food and drinksmy husband ordered plunger coffee but received coffee so weak we could actually see through it and it tasted horribleI ordered rooibos tea but instead I received normal english tea! When we received our food the cinnamon and sugar pancakes were very salty and my husbands griddle cake were like a slamming cake. When we politely complained about the drinks at first they disputed our concern and asked us to rather leave and without making a scene we're leaving in disbelief of what had just happened! Nevertheless we put R100 on the table and just left. We are very disappointed in the manager's attitude towards us as well as the way he handled this complaint. How can this place be awarded a four star rating by treating it's customers this way?

This was a terrific place to stay on the Garden Route on the way to Knysna. Twelve of us stayed in the lovely cottages which are clean and comfortable and won't disappoint. The surrounding areas are beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the winery only a short distance away. The main highlight was the yummy cooking class with Estelle and Gerrit - they're so passionate about their food and the dishes we cooked were excellent - thanks for a great couple of days.

Fantastic Experience, couldn't recommend more highly! The rooms were comfortable, warm and clean with fresh roses on the tables. The views are stunning and garden/tea garden lovely. The owners went out of their way to help in anyway they could. Our car broke down and we were towed back for an unexpected extra night stay. Even with our large family ( 5 small boys) they quickly arranged a room and even provided us with an evening meal with no notice! We are so thankful and impressed with their service and kindness.
