  Had the most wonderful experience at Hotel Portao Diaz. The staff are warm, wonderful and incredibly wonderful. Our group required meals at the most awkward times because of our schedule and the hotel was always accommodating. Always willing to meet our demands with a smile. Yolanda, Bronwin, Leonore and the rest of the staff are amazing.

  This place is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. Clean rooms with en suite bathroom and secure parking. Close to major shopping centre. Absolutely marvelous breakfast cooked on open fire in the boma! Loved it, highly recommended for travel overnighter or long term stay. Friendly staff.

  Best value for money! 2 Chicken Schnitzel dinners with wine and beer for under R150. Secure parking, immaculate rooms and 400 thread count cotton bedding!

  Also the Backpack Shack. Very clean and neat with super-friendly staff. Uncapped WiFi a bit slow at 0.25Mbps but it is free.
