Open on weekends for some doctors but not for first time consultations. No reason provided. Online appointment was cancelled twice after being confirmed. Perhaps because the request was for a telephonic consultation? First call at 08h01 was not answered. Second call to follow-up on cancellation was hung up. Third call rang to no end. Only reached them on the fourth attempt. Kinda disappointing.

The doctors are amazing BUT I had a bad experience with the reception staff. I couldnt go in as I was worried about covid and my script have expired and all I needed was a new 6 month script. I emailed the receptionist to ask for a new script on the 7th of Dec 2020, on the 9th I emailed again to ask if my script was send to Dischem, where I was told that they did send it through. I went to Dischem and stood in line for a while just to be told that they haven't received any script. I contacted the reception where I was told that they cannot find my file ( bare in min I have been at the doctors for 2 years now) then I was told the receptionist must have forgotten to send it. The next day I stood in the line for a long time again at Dischem to be told again that no script was send. Again I emailed to know what was going on. The worst part is that I am diabetic and ran out of insulin and needed my insulin ASAP ( ive been without insulin for 4 days) that is highly dangerous for me. I had to leave kzn to go on holiday amd no response from the receptionist. Only a few days after I left to go on holiday I was told that my script is at the practise for me to come and collect (at this time I was already in the free state). So now I will be charged a consultation fee for bad service?!!!! Luckily I found a very good doctor in the Free State to do a checkup and give me my medication. Even when I was at Dischem, the staff there told me how they struggle only with medicross when it comes to scripts being send and that Medicross always blames Dischem for being at fault. I will never go back to medicross as they are unprofessional and rude and incompetent.

What a pity this otherwise great medical practice is ruined by the rude front of house staff. They are unhelpful, obnoxious and deeply unfriendly. And today one was sniffing and the other kept wiping her nose with her hand, all without a mask on. Such a pity because the doctors are amazing.

Great staff and quite a surprisingly big and diverse complex of medical practitioners. There appears to be all the basics for an emergency clinic here too A surgery is also there if I'm not mistaken.

I have grown up seeing these doctors and have on a few occasions been to the emergency room. Fantastic doctors and staff, but expect "Hillcrest" prices.
