Nicest pub in the Port Alfred area. Modern contempoary design and decor, fantastic menu and excellent food. Nice vibe and, the Highlander Pub has its own Higjlander Draft Beer!

Classic British style pub, with a decent range of beers in bottles and a few beers on draft. Some quality choices on the menu, warthog burger particularly delicious. Very friendly if a little slow service and the head guy at the place loves the craic.

Came here a few times to try different dishes. The starters and burgers are all very enjoyable, but the quesadilla rises above them all.

The atmosphere is also great and service is average.

Good menu selection. Food was good but not amazing. Not a good menu for vegetarians and vegans. Only salad and some other small starter available. Decent place.

Several minute things wrong but they all add up. First, the vintage for the wine was wrong on the menu by 2 years. They had one bottle of sparkling left during dinner service. We ordered the sunday special which was supposed to come with sauerkraut according to the menu but did not. After we were nearly finished with the meal the waitress finally returned for us to ask her for some and she informed us they did not have any. The steak and mash were not seasoned, I mean zero seasoning. Prawns from a box. Overpriced for what you get. Better off having a braai.

A very neat pub with excellent service and friendly waiters. The only thing about the pub is it is increasingly expensive

The food was excellent. There is nothing else to say. Try the lamb burger or the chicken burger, it sounds ordinary but believe me, it's really exceptional.
