  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRAVEL CLINIC!
  
  I went there for travel vaccinations at this travel clinic, they are cheaper than other Travel Clinics and the female doctor that assisted me today was extremely professional and helpful with discussing my travels and what I should be aware of when visiting abroad.
  
  Please also note that they, like all, travel clinics only accept cash (hard cash or card) when paying for any travel clinic services including vaccinations. Medical aid companies in South Africa do not pay for this additional service!

  I called and asked whether they do the yellow fever vaccination and whether they take medical aid and the lady at reception said Yes. However when I got there I was firstly addressed in Afrikaans by the receptionist (oldish lady with short hair), I just went to a different receptionist who was a coloured lady. She helped me and I proceeded to get my vaccination. However when I was meant to settle my payment method, I was now told that the travel clinic doesn’t take medical aid and had to pay cash.
  
  Its Discovery Medical aid, I sincerely don't understand why I wasn’t told before hand cause I asked. Very disappointing

  The doctors at Hatmed are really great, however I have not had the best experience with the dentist, after putting in a filling my tooth became incredibly sensitive and has been getting worse since, each time I go back she simply says "if it's still sore in a week come back" and doesn't do anything about it, I was happier with my little cavity to be honest. I don't think I will return to the dentistry department at hatmed

  The nurse is extremely slow and uncoordinated when dealing with patients. No-one is ensuring that patients are called in the order in which they come in. I waited 1 hour 20 mins for a 1 minute administration of a yellow fever vaccine and watched everyone come and go before me. Unacceptable. Worst service experienced in a very long time.
