Lovely campsites and self catering cottages overlooking a dam with the lower Drakensberg in the background. Snacks available during the day, pub at night. Good mountain biking and walks.

Small camp sites right ontop if each other. Nice place for kids. Some real horrible people next door when we camped though. Making tons of noise next to my tent, and when asked to keep it down got sworn at and called all sorts of names. Real trailer trash kinda people. Friends of the owners so nothing happened after we complained. Safe to say we're never going back.

A surprising pitstop. We didn't stay over, just took a walk and enjoyed the views. It is so lovely here and is definitely on our bucket list of places to stay And very soon hopefully. From the looks of it, it is potentially pet friendly although we only saw resident doggies roaming the grounds. Very child friendly - can't wait to take our kiddo for a weekend away here. Lots of fun things to do!

Great family getaway! We camped with out caravan next to the windmill lake. Fantastic view over the lake with the Drakensberg in the background. Great golf course as well as a mountain bike trail. Technical in parts but a great ride. Nice hiking trails as well. Ablutions are clean and staff very friendly. Animal farm for the kids. Close to Nottingham Hill for shopping and great restaurants. Strongly recommended.

Camping facilities look very neat: thick green lawn, kitchen washing area and clean ablution. Just as we arrived, a thunderstorm blew in - so we decided to go for a chalet. (Fortunately there was a cancelation the morning). Chalet had a fireplace, thick down duvets, electric blankets that were on already when we got to bed. Lovely atmosphere and views.

Glengarry caravanpark is 12km from Highmoor and do have power points. There is a restaurant. The mountain bike tracks serves as lovely hiking trails. It is unbelievable safe out there.

Our camp site tap had a leak which made the ground soggy. Within an hour of reporting it a team came to repair the leak and solved the problem. Well done and thanks.

Would recommend it to everyone craving some peace and quite.
