Magnificent resort, newly renovated. It boast excellent facilities as well as beautifully maintained grounds. The staff are efficient and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for the manager Nathi.

I stayed here in January & absolutely loved it - I just wish that I could have stayed longer.

The welcome was warm and professional. Staff immediately offered to assist me with my luggage to my room. The Concierge was excellent at assisting me to book a game drive and massage in the spa.

The room was stylishly appointed without being over the top. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Thanks too to the restaurant staff for everything that they did.

I loved my visit and can't wait for my next trip.

Ghost Mountain Inn was by far the best hotel we stayed in our Grand Tour of South Africa. (10 hotels in total).
Great rooms, expansive gardens, good food & fine hosts. There was also a nice pool area & a lovely lagoon which was reached by a boardwalk. Shaded seats overlooking the lagoon & was good for bird watching with fine views of the surrounding mountains. Our 2 night stay in October was relaxed, quiet & enjoyable.

Everything was perfect. From the moment I drove into the security gate I got a warm welcome from the guards. The reception lady was friendly. The room was amazing. The amenities were perfect as well

My fiance and I dropped in only for a bite to eat. The lunch we had was ok, but the service and drinks was great! The surrounded area is breathtaking. Quiet, peaceful, and modern. It captures the essence of the natural landscape and South African vibe. The bridge is a must see, and also a nice spot to bird watch.

The standards of this hotel are set quite high. The main area is tranquil and peaceful and modernly designed, this follows through to the rooms with light color schemes and views out into the garden and/or mountain. We were generously given Superior Rooms and I must say these are my favorite, these are quite spacious with a separate toilet and massive bath and shower separated by a glass wall. Perfect for relaxing in the bath and watching some TV which is my ideal evening. When it comes to food you have wide selection to choose from, lunch was not the best to be honest but dinner hit all the right spots, especially dessert. The atmosphere and vibe in the evenings around dinner is upbeat and positive, makes you feel right at home.

The open air restaurant area is special. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the idea that you have a choice of what goes into your breakfast pack when you have a early start to the game reserve.

Facilities could do with maintenance. Food was palatable although variety is limited. Management and staff are indeed helpful. This establishment sports a well balanced and well varied wine list. All round, in our experience, not quite worth a four star rating but rather a healthy 3 stars.
