Tours are 9 AM and 1 PM Monday to Thursday and 9 AM only on Friday. The presentation, information and tour are excellent and free! Anyone interested in engineering will enjoy this.

Excellent staff. Extraordinary learning centre. Was very interesting n kids really enjoyed the tour. They were able to relate to the experience as this is part of the school curriculum. Thanks Elias 👍

We loved the friendliness and knowledge shared by Elias and Bheki. The tour was the best we have ever seen and very factual. this is shining gem for showing how proud and patriotic we must keep close to our heart South Africa.

Let's start with the positive. The power plant is a nice thing to visit and seems well engineered. However our guide was a disaster. He did not tell any interesting facts about the place but tried to impress the group with ridiculous jokes. His jokes were not funny at all but discriminating towards women and handicapped people. It is a shame someone like that is responsible for public relations.

Tanx to Mr Bheki Mlaba our tour guide. He was friendly to everyone. The place is really amazing how it is situated on the mountain.

Really impressive what was done 45 years ago. The tour starts @ 9 and you need your ID document and closed shoes for the free tour. Takes about 2 hours from start to finish.
