Beautiful view and a rather remote location. There is no cellphone reception so this destination allows you to switch off from the outside world and relax in nature. There are walking trails as well as a 4 x 4 route on the farm. They also offer camping facilities. The cabin is high up and overlooks the valley. It is a comfortable size offering 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is a bathroom and open plan kitchen / lounge area as well as an indoor fireplace which is great for the winter months. The lounge has a small tv with dstv but this is connected to the main lodge dstv facility so you are not able to select your channels, and when they change the channel at the main lodge, this affects what you are watching. There is also a braai on the outside deck to enjoy while you soak up the amazing view. For R1600 per night though, I would not expect to have to pay additional money for Wi-Fi access. Vouchers have to be purchased additionally from the reception desk. The bathroom tiles and shower floor seriously needs some urgent attention. The tiles have started lifting due to this being a wooden structure. There is also some mould in the shower floor which neess some sorting out. The coffee mugs were also dirty. This is a more rustic cabin so if you are looking for modern decor and luxury this probably is not the place for you. The view is truly spectacular, overlooking a waterfall which you can actually hear day and night. The dam also has a zipline offering endless fun for both adults and kids.

Quite far away from Hussle and buzzle. Swim at the pools. Horse riding. Quad bikes
    Thank you

Amazing views and lovely out of the way location. However, our "cottage" was attached to the main reception/bar, and our 2 bedrooms included a bed in the kitchen, and you had to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom (a bit awkward for 2 couples). Also, there were none of the little amenities like salt and pepper, or coffee and tea.

    Overall, well worth a visit!

A couple very minor issues with the camping facilities but management was very open to suggestions and accommodating!

Louie and Charlene and their team are the heartbeat of this place. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for making our camping holiday the enjoyable success it was. We will definitely see you guys often!

I can recommend Eagle Falls to anyone wanting to get away from the rat-race and go relax. It recharges the soul!

Lots of facilities. Great views and a beautiful spot. Choices from school camps to private chalets over looking a waterfall. 4x4 tracks, hiking and much more. Definitely worth a look.
