The hotel is definitely not what the pictures show. It's an old dilapidated building. We were suppose to stay for 3 nights but could only stay for 1 night cause it's terrible

I enjoyed my stay here. It's a peaceful place although their building looks Abit old on the outside.
Nice and safe parking lot for Cars.

Looks very upmarket from the outset, but the building is shabby and in need of a paint job besides much else. Terrible staff training and slow service with mediocre food.

The place is so inviting,yes bedrooms are dated but with improvement sure it will look better,bathrooms really need a revamp,service is top notch(staff) food is always fresh facilities can be improved with time

It's a timeless piece of architecture, hidden in the modern city of Durban. Very spacious and very clean. And the interior of the building keeps up with the theme of the exterior which is 1850s architecture.

Good value for money. Lack of lift to the first floor rooms makes it a bit difficult for older travelers with large luggage

This place can be one of the best place to stay in Durbanif they can revamp it and have a proper management bring new ideasput in place a new lift systemin the shower once you open it will be very hard to close the tape and will need to find the maintenance guy who will not be available and in the mean time the water continues to run to wastethe tinny lift can only accommodate 03 personsthe restaurant doesn't serve late than 21:00 waiters have no respect to the guests you will be ask to leave the restaurant because it closing

Cheap place that's nothing close to the pictures they show! Rooms smell stuffy and dump, dirty carpets!
Wi-Fi is fast though!
