Deep indigenous forest close to Eshowe town centre. Historic forest which was the enclave of Zulu Kings. One of the Kings is buried within this forest. Dlinza means "burial ground".
The forest is an outstanding birding site with some unusual birds including the Spotted Ground Thrush, Chorister Robin,Green Malkoa and Nerina Trogon relatively easily seen.
There is a superb aerial boardwalk, clean ablutions and s small shop on site, as well as safe parking. Excellent bird guides are available.
