Bring along something to drink and some good company to make the time in the queue pass quicker and I guarantee your experience will be a view hundred times better than Home Affairs in Centurion. No you're not going to get first world service but for South Africa this is as good as it gets.

Applied for documents in time and still have not recieved anything, two days ago I phoned 61 times and no one answered, I can hear they pick up the phone and hang up again, today I phoned again and no answer aswell

Really disappointed in their service, everybody told me to go their, but they do not answer their phones I am waiting for my documents for over two months now and I am leaving next week to Taiwan and I can not go without those documents and all they say that is if someone picks up they can't help me.

The building might be small and delapedated, but the service is 100 times better than the HA office in Centurion. Queues are short, people are friendly and helpful

Arrived Thursday morning 7:45 and we where about #20th in the line applying for passports. Can have your photos taken on site for R50 - you need two. Papers where handed out even before the doors opened. We we inside by 8:20 and left by 9:20 - all done. Paid via card.
Received the passports are ready sms the following Friday (7 Days) and collected the following Tuesday. Arrived at 9:00 and were done in 10min. When collecting keep in mind that they only received the days passports\IDs shipment at around 9:00am so feel free to come a bit later. On the day we collect that were only 5 people
Staff were very friendly and productive.
