The best place to be, whenever I am in Grahamstown I use them. The facilities are beautiful, clean and their staff are friendly, they have never dissapointed me. My daughter is in Rhodes University so whenever I am in town I use them. The owner and the staff are so wonderful. Last week on the 29th of November my daughter had to come back to Grahamstown to sign the lease for her flat for 2018 and she needed a place to stay. I booked her for one night at the Colonel. Her bus arrived from Durban on the morning of the 29th of November before 7. The Colonel Graham allowed her to come in early, instead of the normal check in time, she checked in, freshened up and had breakfast before seeing the agents. The Colonel did that for her at no extra cost. Anyone who is in Grahamstown please use them, you wont regret, even their self catering rooms are the best. Even for guest going to the elephant parks or game reserves in Grahamstown, they should use the Colonel, as they are affordable and yet homely than most of these game reserves. Its cheaper to go to game reserves as day visitors and sleep at the Colonel, which is what myself and my husband are planning to do next year. Big ups to the Colonel Graham Gueshouse.

The rooms are beautiful. They have nice beds, nice two relaxing couches for each room, Flat Screen TV plus explorer DSTV Decoder. They also have a beautiful and clean bathroom and showers, each room have an open balcony which gives a clear view of the Grahamstown.

Friendly staff and owner, they make a lovely cooked breakfast. The rooms are clean and stylish. Safe off street parking. All in all a great place to stay.
