Rude cashiers, pleasant floor staff, harassed managers, overcrowded on school holidays - but you can buy most of the things you ever need to live on (food and other) at good prices. Adequate pay-parking at all times. May they never leave us. Except for the cashiers. They should be fired today.

The shop is in a great little shopping centre. Take advantage of that!

I called Pick 'n Pay Waterfront and asked to speak to someone in the Fish Section and waited for more than 10 min without assistance. I eventually had to put the phone down. Is this the way loyal Pick 'n Pay shopper get treated. Absolutely disgusted.

Always end up buying more than I plan to when visiting this store. Food is so yummy and fruit and vegetables look fantastic in their layout and freshness. Deli has delicious food and such a good variety without being too big. Tills move at a decent speed considering the popularity as well. Great work

I'm moving to Sea Point just for the Checkers! Have the best "padkos" selection, super nice bakery, Kosher & non-kosher food and efficient service. Love shopping here when I can!

Since I was young I've always been coming here as it's in close proximity for me and offers everything I need. Great management with everything you need under one roof. Clean, well run and a general feel of pride from the management. 5 out of 5 from the good old days up to the current renevations. Big up.

Wide aisles clean
no food smells
great selection of goods especially fruit and veg
Iots of Checkers helpers on the floor and many fast moving checkout tills.
It's a large store but it's not mammoth and tiring to shop there.
A perk is that there is always parking available and 3 or 4 large elevators.

By the way let it be known that I don't have a stake in the business.
I'm just a happy, regular shopper.

Good selection of fresh produce, meat and the usual groceries. Also has a pharmacy inside. Can be much better if they had a single queue system like the Woolies and Spar down the road It gets crazy busy.

Meat of poor quality and over priced. Food often found to be older than expiry date. Fantastic deli section but keep an eye on freshness.

I love your supermarket. Well stocked and fresh. However, with sadness, i doubt I will be shopping there again. This is due to the consistent problems on engaging (or non engaging on their part,) with your staff. While I acknowledge that I do not know the cause of their apparent depressed state, to be met with a blank stare on greeting them causes a major negative reaction in me. At other times, they dont bother to look at me. There have been times that Ive arrived at the till, only to wait while the teller completes an obviously private conversation with the next teller. Today I smiled and greeted the lady at the ticket office. I not only received no greeting or smile in return, the entire process was met with utter boredom and irritation. It appeared to be all too much for her. I walked into Checkers in a fabulous mood. I walked out feeling terrible.
