Everything is fresh. Get basically everything you need for your house and a litter more. Coffee barista in house. Disadvantage though- they do not sell the 4 and 8 pack of croissants (guess its a p.e thing at this franchise) highly disappointing!!!

I love Metlife checkers for it's convenience, the staff are always friendly however there is one manager who does not speak properly to his staff in front of customers. He is just plain rude and when I was incorrectly charged he acted as if he were doing me a huge favour. The fish section also leaves much to be desired as it always smells extra fishybut again I live 2 minutes from the store and for my dailies like bread and the like it is a real south african lekker store

Meets most of our shopping. Shops close within reach of one another for all necessary shopping purchases needed. Friendly & helpfull.

Good variety of products and easy parking. Not in a Mall but in a convenience centre so parking easier. Also close to Food Lovers Market.

Located in the revamped Metlife Mall, this Checkers is relatively well layed out though leaving some room for improvement. It is well stocked and in a safe area.
