I have loved this place for such a long time (mainly because the simple greens salad and the Greek lamb shank pizza is amazing and also the sweet manager who is always overseeing that everyone is seated and satisfied) however I cannot give it 5 stars because I recently got served by a slim brunette waiter who gave herself a tip and charged it on my card without telling me.😒😒 Keep in mind I was going to tip her regardless. I am totally still disgruntled by this. Great food, great vibe, great attention to customers. Just lovely.

Love this place! Amazing pizza. The best in PE. Once you have a craving for Charlie's pizza nothing else will do. Great people too. The waitress found my sister's wallet before we knew it was missing.

Not only the best but the only place where to eat a pizza in South Africa. Once you have experienced an ultra thin pizza made by Patrick the chef at Charlie's Pizza & Pasta you will never be satisfied anywhere else.
We are so lucky to live in the same city as this place. I drive about 50km almost once a week to have my favourite pizza specially made to my liking. No need to look at the menu, Patrick knows what my wife Lyn and I will have.
The waiters automatically bring our drinks order of soda for her and a Carpark John craft beer for me.

Food is always great service not so much but I guess u find that everywhere. Apon sitting down there was nobody sitting around us when we finally got someone to take our drink order there where 5 or 6 tables around us that had been seated after us that had already got drinks. Nobody had even asked us if we wanted drinks. It wasn't even busy so sad the place is always great.

Always a favourite, especially for the seared kudu loin with the seasonal green salad (even though how medium to well done it turns out might depend on which chef is on duty - it always comes out great regardless). Amazing decor and atmosphere, great service and such an awesome and creative variety of both drinks and meals!

The interior is quite inviting. Busy restaurant - seems to be popular. Pizza base is crispy and different. For the first time a prawn pizza had real prawns on and not shrimps. Service was not all that good.

Free WiFi and live music on Monday evenings.

Very cosy, good bar selection with a nice cappuccino as an alternative. Pizza is good with a wide variety of toppings.

Great atmosphere. My wife and I love their pizzas. This is possibly our favorite place to go to for pizzas. They have cocktails and craft beer on tap. What more do you need.

I cannot lament the poor quality service enough.

No one was at the front of the restaurant so I sat myself down at the bar and orderd a glass of wine.

After about 10minutes I stop the nearest waiter asking him to reserve a table as soon as one becomes available - I am soon pointed(by the manager) in the direction of a table near the entrance.

After well over 20 minutes waiting on a menu I am forced to approach the manager myself who seemed overly concerned polishing cutlery instead of serving hungry, paying customers.

Training is poor - non-existent? - and the manager just milling about doing absolutely nothing except maybe polishing spoons(?)

It was extremely annoying having to run back and forth to get service, and then waiting and waiting.

20 minutes to get a waiter plus a further 20 minutes for a menu that was stored under a POS desk within reaching distance of my table.

I tried to explain my unpleasant experience to the manager but he wasn't having any of it, instead of showing some accountability he leaps into defense mode blaming his waiters - everyone and circumstance except himself (insert: arrogant, unprofessional and oblivious) He offered my wine "on the house" - I did not accept.

I decided to avoid an unpleasant altercation and proceeded to leave upon settling my bill.

It's was a decent experience the pizza is nothing special pre baked base shows a lot and results in a dry pizza. The toppings were good and enjoyed the food overall, service was definitely lacking. It's not a bad spot but you can probably do better.

Always had a good experience here. Pizzas are the best in town, the manager is friendly and always keen to please. Service is efficient.

Best by far in PE.
Best pizza and pasta.
Just add a bit more prawns into the prawn pasta.
Lovely service.
We will defenitly come again.

Nice ambience loved their pasta. The entry via the first floor could be improved with a sign on the door one may not guess the entrance till someone says so.
