Just paid R1600 for parking for a week and got back to my car to have all 4 my f my hubcaps stolen off. If I pay that amount of money some bloody security would be appreciated!

Cape Town International Airport is located about 20 minutes outside pf Cape Town and gives you easy access to any direction you wish to follow. There are some really good stores and shops here and if ypu need to do a car rental one can easily be helped with multiple options available. Paid parking is also an option and fairly affordable.
Can't believe that as an international airport it doesn't offer wheelchair assistance at night. They said the staff had all gone home and the staff who were on duty were not prepared to help with locating and loading luggage on to the trolley. Surely airports open around the clock should ensure there is assistance for those who have requested it when booking the ticket?
Cape Town International airport is definitely on an international standard. The facilities Are well looked after and properly maintained. The reason why I didn’t give five stars is because some of the staff aren’t trained properly and Don’t know the airport well enough to help give you directions.
Airport is neat and well maintained. The gates have plenty of seating. Security scans are generally pretty quick and pain-free.
You'll find anything from hairdressers (Gate A10) to Mugg & Bean and Wimpy (Gate A7), pharmacies, to a couple of bars and plenty of shops.
Lots of public power ports to charge your electronic devices but you will require a South African power adaptor.
Small and nice airport. Very well organized. Kind passports and customs staff. Clean.
Very stunning airport! Well administered and professionally maintained. It has all the essentials required by frequent travelers I.e easy pick up points, shuttle services, car rentals etc. Positioning of the car rental facility is poorly positioned, you have to go through a tunnel which sometimes gets slippery when it rains. If it rains you might get rained on making your way to the preferred rental company. The slope and hill of the tunnel might be difficult for someone with a disability, injury and would suggest you book a cart to move you from the rental part of the airport to the boarding side or vice versa.
Dynamic, modern and well maintained clean airport, efficient luggage delivery service on arrival, as a regular traveler they need to do something about the taxi operators nagging travelers in the arrival hall, there is more and more of them disguise as visitors!
Ample covered parking however the drop off zone is way too small for the airport capacity and too many cars sits and wait there with no regards to inbound or outbound travellers especially when one have lots of luggage or travelling with kids, traffic enforcement are usually around more for visibility than anything else!
Shopping facilities are good, with a Woolworths which is convenient and choices of eateries, an Exclusive Books store inside the terminal is always a pleasure to visit.
South African Airways lounge and British Airways Slow Lounge are the better private space and worth visiting to stay away from the hectic and at times crowded departure gates space.
Simply and Nice!! Giving an attractive view. Its not that much big, but its average and well organized. Sufficient facilities for comfortable transit. some passengers are complaining about lost of their baggage. So be aware. Need to re arrange pickup zone.
Efficient airport. Well designed. Clean. Staff are helpful. Easy to navigate. Pick up zone could be improved.
One of the nicest airports I've been to. Not too big and not to small. Easy to fly in and fly out. Especially if you're a frequent flyer. They have a terribly designed pick up zone.
The Cape Town International Airport is one of the biggest airports on the continent. It has enough space for parking, in case you want to park your car for a very long time. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and world-class customer service. If this is your first time here, welcome to the Mother City; but if you're on your way out, safe journey and we look forward to seeing you soon again.
Lots of parking. Drop off and go is great. Good places to eat. Great view of planes. Great Airport overall. Really improved over the last decade.
This airport is okay by international standards. Check-in at Emirates was quick and efficient, as was the helpful staff at security. However, if you are travelling on an international flight be forewarned that once you get past passport control and security, there is only once restaurant in the departures lounge. We were unpleasantly surprised of this after walking by rows of restaurant choices on the non-secure side of the airport. I cannot comment on whether the domestic departures lounge has the same lack of restaurants on that side. Safe travels!
