Great place to visit, especially with kids. If you like zoos, you will really enjoy this place. Nice for Overseas vistors to the area to visit as they have some unusual animals and you can get up close with a Cheetah and get you picture taken.
My recommendation: Yes!! its a nice place.

The Cango Wildlife Ranch is just off the main street in Oudshoorn and the perfect place to bring the kids. They have lots of animals here and the guided tours are amazing and packed with lots of fun and educational wild life facts. This is a natural and controlled environment that makes it perfect for a day trip with the family.

Guided tours provided. We had a very funny and knowledgeable guide on our visit. They also promote lots of conservation and protection of the animals they house. There is a variety of animals to see. The restaurant is also well positioned within th Ranch.

A must see to anyone traveling through the area. The animals were amazing to see up close and the tour guides really bring the whole experience to life with exiting facts about the animals and how they act in the wild. You can take the whole family here and everybody will find something they like. Facilities include the animal exibits, curio shops and restaurants. All prices from entrance to food was quite fair considering how much you pay nowadays for safari's and such. Would visit again.

Magnificent. Visited with my 12 year old son and enjoyed every minute. Friendly staff, reasonable rates.

The animal encounters are worth every cent and are conducted by very friendly and patient staff. We did the encounter with the lemurs and the serval and it was fantastic to get so close to these animals. The aviary is a must see and do too. Birds sit on you and literally eat out of your hand.

We didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't comment on that part.

Loved every minute of my visit to this amazing Wildlife Sanctuary. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Activities and guided tour are extremely enjoyable and well conducted. Interactions with the big cats and other animals were amazing. Highly recommended to both foreign visitors and locals. Some might find it very pricey but worth every cent.

Great place, with nicely managed n well maintained wildlife! The animal-encounters are amazing and a must-do thing here. Really friendly staff. We were fortunate to pet a cheetah, an amazing experience overall!

Well worth a visit! Guided tour to start then general wander round. Main attraction is hands on opportunities to get close up to several animals including lemurs, cheetahs, servils and even crocodiles (in a cage immersed in clean water!!) Staff were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient. Restaurant available. We visited the caves ostrich farm and wildlife ranch on this stretch of road, all could be managed on a busy schedule in a single day.

Fantastic experience, thank to our guide Ed! They respect the animal and you can support the park doing the encounter with different species. I got the premium ticket online with the Picture in the USB. Very good deal! From there you a must to do is the Cango Cave. Book overnight in Almondbury Farm guest house. You won't regret the whole experience!

Got our year membership tickets. This is our go-to place when you just want to get out. If you love animals this is a must visit. My boy just loves to come and say hello to the Crocks and Lions. Burgers at Turles restaurant are some of the best in town. Well worth the visit.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. I have been more than once, and will more than likely go again.

This place is a real gem with lots to see and experience, a great place to shoot pictures, see wildlife, get up close and personal with cheetahs and see conservation and wildlife rescue in action.

Whether it be adults or with kids in tow, it's a memorable experience. Combined with a visit to the Cango Caves (you drive past this location on the way to and from the Cango Caves) you will have a full day filled with great adventures.

A visit with the Cheetahs is highly recommended, the staff are so passionate about their work and love to tell you more about the animals in their care. If it's a warm day, dress lightly and stay hydrated. It can get hot in Oudtshoorn.

Do the walking tour, it's a great way to learn about the animals in the park, and definitely bring your camera!

The cheetah experience was sensational and their conservation programme appears to be going successfully. I was so impressed with the quality of cheetah care that I am going to adopt one. A must visit tourist attraction when visiting Oudtshoorn. Exceptionally well maintained and well managed. Staff are very professional and the interactions and tour are first class. Worth every cent spent. The establishment does wonderful work and a major contributor towards conservation. Getting up close and personal with some of the animals will remain an unforgettable experience for me and my family.
