The fishing there is awesome until the speedboats come into the water then the fish stop biting. The accommodation is really good.

Great view and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. Things to pack, bring a fan if you don't enjoy the heat, a spatula, dish washing sponge and liquid. I'd definitely come again.
My only real issue is that nobody on their boats and jet skis seems to be considerate of all the fishermen.

If I could give a zero star I would, but I have to, so 1 it has to be.
We we're a couple of ladies that went to spend 2 days there. The owners was rude and the one bedroom's door broke. Inside is nothing as advertised. Worst, I forgot my bag with all my clothes bag with very valuables inside. I phoned them and requested in a kind matter if they can please go and look. They said it was not there and their staff is Christians and I'm making it out as if they are thieves, which I told her I promise I'm not doing, I have epilepsy and I really need my tablets, I was in tears and she was so rude it's shocking. The managers then told me it's my friends that took my bag, that was accusing my friends. I never did it to her staff. Being kind never killed anyone and definitely not the way to run your business.
I will let everyone know to avoid going here. So very sorry, none of our friends will ever go back there, and that we decided within the first day being there.

Nice little getaway from the city. It's a very quite little accommodation on Vaal River. The only issue is the menu is quite limited but the rest is fine.
