The lodge is beautifully maintained and the room was tastefully furnished with a balcony that overlooks the river.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 5 day break at Bush River Lodge the tranquil views, on your doorstep wildlife, delicious food, fantastic company and awesome kitchen facilities that the Lodge has to offer. The highlight of our stay was by far the Bush Dinner set up beautifully for us in a riverbed in the middle of the bush surrounded by darkness, starlit sky the sounds of the wildwas that a leopard we heard? Thank you Wessels for your friendly and interesting hospitality and thank you to Ursula.a 5 star gourmet chef. We return home tomorrow well stuffed and well rested.

Great lodge and lovely staff. Edwin was courteous and always around to help. It's super quite and has antelope coming in and out so you will definitely see those up close. The management was not great though. Had two incidents where they were rude and not accommodating. E.g.: we requested a late checkout from date of booking and were told to request at checkin. At checking they told us they would let us know, they didn't and when we called to find out we were told check out is strictly 10am. As long as you don't deal with the management and are an early riser you will have a great time.

Great view over the river, sitting on the deck by the fire, listening to hippos and enjoying a drink. Manager is awesome and will truly ensure you get a great stay
