  This is a stunning location and the hotel was beautifully designed unfortunately this hotel is mismanaged and not maintained. Carpets, lighting, food, air-conditioning, structural damage, housekeeping need to be fixed/improved. Not being able to charge food/drinks (not even room service) to your room is inconvenient and nonsensical.

  The hotel rooms are large and the views amazing. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. However, my in my room there was not enough plug points resulting in the kettle and bed side lamp keep on having to be plugged and unplugged. Also only 1 2 pin socket - not enough. The toilet also did not flush properly. Luckily we didn't spend too much time in the room as we were there for a family wedding.

  Beautiful hotel to stay in for friends, family and couples. Had so much fun. Great restaurant meals and the aqua cruise is something you should definitely do while staying here.

  Me and Hubby Stephen we had a good stay in the hotel. Firstly the Location is very good. GuGu is the lady who made our booking she is so loving and friendly big hug to her. Secondly the lady and the Guy at the reception we so friendly and helpful. Thirdly, our room was lovely and clean but it had a smell I think the windows and room freshener are needed in the rooms especially if the rooms are going to be occupied that day. I think decorations and furniture need to be upgraded. The only disappointment is the menu, you don’t have variety for us who doesn’t like buffet. We had to drive out to get dinner as the restaurant was serving only Buffet for dinner. Please look into your menu and add more dishes please. But we will differently come back we had fun at the pool and boat ridding too.

  Amazing atmosphere. Amenities are stunning. Food is more than u can wish for regarding choice and quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.

  Good place with cruise but only operates on weekend. The vaal river breeze is so nice and beautiful view while having your meal.

  Beautiful located with an awesome view. Just need to redo the interior decor and check all maintenance as some rooms the taps were not working.

  Looks beautiful from outside, beautiful foyer. Rooms could be upgraded abit for instance they tell you they have a hairdryer then you get there and it's unplugged on the floor broken. Plus it had tape on so that showed it had broken before.

  We usually visit by boat for a cocktail. But not any more. The food and drinks are generally actually decent but the service and wait times are a joke, sometimes it can be 20 minutes before a waiter even realises you're there, and another hour before a couple milkshakes arrive. I try to avoid it these days, which is a shame because it is such a beautiful place.

  Brown towels used. Light in dressing room not working, reported it to reception from Monday till Thursday no response. I dress up in the dark.

  A decent hotel with good sized rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. A little outdated and more attention to detail when cleaning rooms would be great though.

  Shockingly dated and poor hotel in the Vaal. No wifi to speak of in their public areas and none in the rooms. This hotel was last refreshed around 1990 by the look of it. Very poor food too.

  Good for a day or weekend away..... Rooms are extremely old fashioned but a great scenery. Food was okay and not much places to visit in the area. Could honestly maintain the place a bit better.

  The view of the Vaal river is perfect and the garden area is well maintained. The rooms are great but old stylish. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go again.
