There should be no stars to this place. Never in my life have I experienced such disgusting service and unprofessionalism. So so sad how you guys false advertising this place. I'm sure this is illegal as you don't meet any of a hotels criteria.
The stuff is rude
The place is disgustingly dirty
The food is horrible
Maintenance is non existent
There is really nothing here but a dirty building and we drove all the way from Pretoria for some back alley mediocre place just to be met with apologies.response / report this review -

Dominated by a wide view on the Black Mountain, most rooms are laid out to face out to the panoramic landscape. Friendly, attentive staff and modern facilities ensure a comfortable stay for local, and international guests. Whether you visit on your own or in a larger group, the hotel caters for different group sizes. The quality of the food served within the daily buffets on offer, was very good. This includes sufficient vegetarian dishes within a varied spread. Check whether the hot water tub pump was fixed before you visit. If not, no hot water pool. Still, worth a return visit, also for the surrounding nature.

Beautiful hotel and conferencing facility. Black Mountain is situated in the heart of Maria Moroka Nature Reserve located in Thaba ‘Nchu, a town in the Free State located about 60 km east of Bloemfontein. It’s a hidden jewel 💎 and perfect spot for a romantic gateway with wonderful views even from the garden. Spa treatment is just too divine and the rooms are comfortable.

Used to be the glory of the area in the past. The staff is friendly, but in terms of service there's always room for improvement. But it is a hidden jewel.
