Fair to good food, just inconsistent. Service poor. Prices high for what you get, but then you go back and have a wonderful evening, and so you keep coming back

Stunning. If you don't stop you will never understand what you have missed out on.

We went based on a recommendation from our hostess at Drakensview Self Catering (also highly recommended) and it was delightful. The restaurant was unique, the service great, the owner came over and chatted, and the food was delicious! We had a phenomenal evening out!

Small oasis on the road from the drakensberg to Joburg. Scrumptious food, great offer of craft beers, delightful little shop with locally made outfits.

Great steaks from perfectly grilled aged meat with tasty fries and a nice salad to complement the meal. The cheesecake for desert was really good.
Also had a pizza (at another occasion..) which was good and Italian style with a foldable thin bottom. That is an important note as pizza in South Africa can from my experience differ quite a bit from Italian ones.
In short a good and relaxed place to have a bite, recommended! Oh and just for the record giving 5 stars is for Americans, perfection is something one does not often encounterresponse / report this review -

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Their pizza's are a thing of beauty! Thin base with amazing toppings, almost always with properly fresh ingredients. Only downside: No black label on tap, but no-one is perfect
