    What excellent service!!

I would 100% go back. My partner and I had such a lovely experience buying our car from Barons Durban!

Ashmin was excellent in communicating with us throughout the whole process. Zinthle could not have been more helpful in explaining the financial side and Tayla was so wonderful in transferring our tracker systems to our new vehicle.

All in all such a wonderful experience. We definitely got the dream team handling our sale.

A big thanks to Barons Volkswagen and a special shout out to Ashmin, Zinthle and Tayla!

    :))))))

I'm now at my next annual service at VW Barons Bluff and happy to say that my vehicle is in good hands.
Customer service is always really pleasant, to say the least. When you arrive you are greeted respectfully.
I have to say on a more recent visit to VW Barons Bluff, I've had a far more pleasant experience..
My bearings on my front wheels had worn out over the 46000 km I've put them through and had gone through many troubles trying to figure out what exactly this humming sound was that was progressively getting louder as the months passed by.
Changed all tyres to new. Took it for alignment and balancing, but still nobody could tell me what the humming was or where the source of the humming was coming from.
Eventually took it for a diagnostics at VW Bluff Barons and the service handler as well as this gentleman who went by the name Winston, a very clued up fella I might add took the time to check my warranty on the car and changed out my bearings and fitted new brake pads as well as a general service.. All covered under the warranty. And handled professionally by the VW Barons team.
Got the car back clean and drove it home, ecstatic when not a whisper of sound came from the wheels.

Worst Experience After I had my brake did and pad changed by VW Barons. Few weeks later I noticed rust spreading on them. It looked terrible.
I went back to VW and spoke to the guys in the service floor and they basically brushed it off as "Normal" there was nothing they do about it.
I then asked to speak to the Manager who also advised that, the rust doesn't affect the safety of the vehicle and there is nothing that can be done. Unfortunately we leave in Durban the sea courses the rust but I have owned more than 10 cars and this wasn't my first vehicle from VW and have never experienced rusting brakes disk etc..

I was furious, disappointed.. It makes my car look terrible and I wasn't happy with the lack of assistant from VW and no responsibility taken either.
I was told they will contact head office and most likely head office will not approve the case. So I'm stuck with rusted back tyres/brakes or Rotors.. Whatever You want to call it.
Thanks alot VW. I will never purchased any vehicle from VW EVER AGAIN.

Extremely heart broken, disappointed and left feeling robbed by VW Barons!

Do not take your car to this place, unlesd you are prepared to spend money to fix what the technicians break during a service. I sent my car in for a service; everything in my car was working and fully functional and my car came back with a broken airconditioner that made a huge noise when I put it on and no longer cooled. The day before my service my airconditioner worked perfectly and cooled as normal. I took my car back to be fixed twice and they refused to undo what they had done because I wasn't on a maintenance plan, yet it was no fault of my own. They wanted to charge me R6000 to fix what their service technicians broke. Unprofessional and unsatisfactory service. Take your car to Barons Umhlanga instead. Better safe than sorry.

Terrible place. I sent my VW Polo for a service and it was wrapped with a plastic protective coating. They cut through the plastic to replace the Alpine sticker with a Barons one. When they realised the damage they caused they glued the Alpine sticker back and spun me a BS story that the car was still in the wash. They hid the damage from me hoping I would not see. When I found out I spoke to the manager and he just laughed thinking it was quite funny. No sympathy and I had to demand rectification - simply no interest from these people.
