Such a wonderful place to visit if you are a beer connoeseiur with more than 99 bottled and 25 beer on tap options available. They Also have a Taster combos of 120 ml for you to find out about the right taste of beer. Everything about this place including the lights, the wash basin and even the urinals shout of beer. I am sure this place will be loved by everyone who likes beer. Moreover they have something or the other every night for the crown pulling in (except on Wednesdays) and the place stays groovy till 2 am. A must check out point in Cape Town and my favorite for beer in Cape Town. cheers!

Great selection of beer. Some good bar food. Prices are decent. Nice music and good vibes. Downsides are its a little small and horrible parking. Good luck finding a spot during core hours - come early

I've stopped by Beerhouse twice for late lunch and cold beers. The have a great selection of beers on tap and a nice outdoor patio. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and an order of Wings. Both were tasty.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, but they need to step up their beer knowledge a bit. The good news is the menu has descriptions about all their beers from light to dark.

They also have nightly specials. I'll be sure to stop in again and you should too. Beer makes people happy.

It's a very friendly place. Love the vibe. Open until 2am. Reasonable for the city vibe. Very popular for all ages. Beers are reasonably priced but the wait can be very long as the place gets very full. Great music Great place to dance and just have fun.

It isn't possible to go wrong with a place that has 99 bottled beers and 25 on tap- if you like beer, of course. The staff are knowledgeable about the beers but the beer menu explains all the beer intricacies very, very well. There is something for every kind of beer drinker; even the ones who do not like beer. The food is 100% unique and not just because much of it contains beer in some form. The food is more than just beer, like chips made with pap with a chakalaka salsa on the side. Delicious!

Great place, with more than 100 different beers - some of them are local, some of them are international. I liked their menu explaining the different types of beer and showing where each comes from. Bottles of each beer are shown on the wall behind the bar so you can decide. We tasted 3 beers, all of them were good ! Staff is very friendly.

Outside the bar the sign says 25 taps, 99 bottles and boy is this what you get. The waiters know what they are talking about and can recommend anything without obvious and over-the-top upselling. Good food too, you could easily spend an entire evening here. Great location on Long Street as well.

All about Beer! This is a casual pup with one of the largest beer selections I've ever seen. The place also has great burgers to match.

Great vibe to this place. Lots of good beer. Like that they have beers parsed out into different styles. They have some decent IPAs on tap if you're hankering for one. Not something you see much of in Africa. Food was good. Had the brisket burger and it didn't disappoint. I thought the place was big and therefore going to lack some aspect of being a local hangout. Not true at all. By the time I left, the locals had come out in droves to this watering hole.

    Love the atmosphere.

I was there with my friends and family. We all loved the vibe and the food. Of course it has different beers so if you're a fan and love a chilled place to be with your favourite people? It's the place to go.

They even have Karaoke and Comedy!!

Draft beers are good but the foods are just fine. If you travel alone, this is a good place to see one type of night cultures in South Africa. The safety here is protected by guards.

Massive selection of craft beers. German dishes are pretty authentic. Recommend the massive onion rings, crackling and pretzels. Good service and great vibe.

Awesome selection of beers. Waitresses are foxy, humorous and fun. Food is great too, especially the German selection. Take note that you are not allowed to take any alcohol outside of the building; thus, you are not allowed to buy craft beers and take it home. You have to drink it on the premises. Bummer 😕

Beer House as the name suggest. Popular for beers. The balcony overlooks the famous Long Street. Lots of activity at night and the best seat on the house at the balcony

Located right on Long Street, the Beerhouse is a fantastic place to knock down brews both local and international. The vibe is extremely chilled and luckily the prices match too. They have interesting starters like Flammkuchen to go with their 99 beers, out of which 23 are on tap! The servers are extremely helpful and are delighted to assist you with choosing your brew without hurrying you with your order. Pets are welcome here. 15-20 min drive from the Waterfront. A beer here costs R35-45 depending on the size and origin.

Beerhouse is a fun place to come with friends, especially when it is warm outside because there is a beautiful upstairs outdoor terrace. You guessed it, there are many different selections of beers. The food is fine, not great, but you get what you are paying for and expecting from a beer house.

A lot of time went into the planning of the beer menu. Wide variety of beers in bottle and on tap, local and imported. The beers types are grouped and description. The bar food menu also interesting and it is BAR food. I had the pulled pork and it was tasty and juicy. The waiter was friendly, efficient and admitted that she is still learning every day. I am definitely coming back and sending friends.

Very touristy, loud but enjoyable place. Many Beers, over 25 on tap and 99 bottled.
If you have to end up on long street its a good place to spent some nights.
Go on the balcony and people watch bustling long street
