I have not had the pleasure of going shark diving with these guys, but it is on my bucket list. However, I have purchased two photos from Chris and Monique and they are both amazing. I get so many compliments about the photos, and I love how they are scientists as well as tour operators. I am planning to go back to Cape Town for a holiday and shark diving with these guys is number one on the list.

Renee and Bernie are amazing!! I had only two days in Cape Town and they set me up with a shark dive for the following day with less than 24 hours notice. They were so kind and accommodating with my schedule, and when I couldn’t get a dive in Cape Town with Apex, they quickly booked me a dive in Gaansbai with a sister company. They were on hand at all times in case I had any questions and were super easy to communicate with. Love Apex and cannot recommend them enough to set you up with a once in a lifetime experience!

Went with 3 friends for the morning trip to seal island. Although we didn't see a great white, we saw a bunch of sevengill sharks, 2 whales and several penguins. The sharks were bumping into the cage which was exhilarating and the crew were expert in bringing them close with the bait lures. Adding to the thrill of the trip was the amazing hospitality (I was not expecting gourmet sandwiches) and comfort of the boat. Overall this was extremely good value and I will definitely be recommending Apex to my friends and family who visit Cape Town.

We had a fantastic experience with Apex. They brought us out for ~3 hours for cage diving with sharks and had a perfect time. They're clearly professionals at this and took care of everything; we just showed up and had a great time. We saw 3 different sharks and had plenty of cage time. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Researched a bunch of different companies but really liked the look of this place and was not disappointed. The staff were very helpful, after an initial cancelled trip due to weather they got us in the next day and when I got very sea sick they were incredible giving advice making sure I was ok such great people.

Unfortunately we didn’t see great whites as they’ve been very rare in the area as of late we did have a bunch of copper sharks right up in the cage, despite the seasickness I really enjoyed it.
