Beautiful national park! The accommodation (wooden chalets) at the rest camp is great. Make sure to spend some time at the lagoon. The rest camp is only accessible for overnight visitors. The 10km hike is lovely. The tar roads within the park are excellent. The only bad road is the municipal road to Suiderstrand, but it's not a long stretch, and it is possible to drive there with a normal car (just go slowly). The southern most tip of Africa is brilliant! Visit the lighthouse and then do the boardwalk to the southern most tip. This is open for day visitors. Well done to SANParks!

This is one of the major land marks in cape town southern most tip of Africa. but besides all the wonderfull stuff to see and experience it is also perfect for a lovely family vacation

Such a beautiful site from the lighthouse. You can park there and take the wheelchair friendly wooden path to the point which is only 1.2 kms. There are many photo opportunities, but note that drones aren't allowed in this national park.

Very bad road towards Suiderstrand. Maintenance not upto standard. Good work that is done to protect environment and nature. Keep up the good work and please give the dirt road a better permanent finish. Regards Fanie Nel

What a scenic drive. A great way to get connected with nature. The southern most tip of Africa what an amazing monument. The Lighthouse also an amazing experience. Beach water is lovely not icy at all. Not Alot of traffic. Lovely place

Currently under construction but it does give a thrill to visualise the cross over from Indian to Atlantic.

Not much to do except for the signs. When we were there the place was under construction to get a brand new monument site (big square). Roads were also under construction and we were not required to pay entrance fee on the Sunday we went there. I think we did not have to pay because of all the construction work, but I am not sure.

The experience is being in this location. That it's not crowded and easily accessible if you are driving from the N2 is a bonus.
There is work going on to build a monumental beacon that look to be fabulous. I am happy I have seen it as it is before that. Bare as God made it.

This is my favourite place in the world. Wild and bleak to some, I love it for the ever-changing moods and colours of the sea, the freshness of the air, its unspoilt nature and the sense that this really is as far away as possible from the daily slog and grind. You can walk forever here and hardly see anyone.

It's quiet and beautiful. The rooms are lovely, and it's very reasonably priced. There are nice hiking trails, and many historic places to visit - like the Southernmost Tip of Africa and the Lighthouse. Definitely worth a visit!

A peaceful park with beautiful scenery. There are some great hikes located around the park as well as a wooden boardwalk right along the seafront which is great for taking in all the sights. The monument marking the Southernmost tip of the Continent of Africa as well as a tour of the Lighthouse are a must see while exploring the park.

Beautiful fynbos reserve on the southern tip of Africa.

No swimming beaches but lots of nice secluded picnic places and rock pools. Well marked hiking trails.

Great place to visit. A visit to the light house , a must. Take a walk on the wooden pathway to the Southern Tip of Africa and take a photo.
The dirt road to the camp not good. The facilities are clean. There are not much wildlife but the scenery are beautiful. Book a chalet on the beach with the house of Pietie se punt. Worth a visit if you like the nature.
