The gardens are well kept and in excellent condition. The walk to the Leopards kloof waterfall is short, but has lovely views and the waterfall is so idyllic! A must see.

Exhausting haul if you go up the zig zag path, but if you're a waterfall hunter up for a challenge, it's well worth it.

Two waterfalls, and you can even see tho kloof from above if prepared to to the zigzag to border path, too.

Ask for the key at entrance.

It's a beautiful pool. You can dip under water and stand under the waterfall. You need to get permission and key for the gate.

So Beautiful and tranquil. Found the reserve to be very well kept. Had such an amazing hike.
It was just very disturbing how many people have a total disregard for the rules of the reserve and no respect or appreciation for the nature around them.

This is a small waterfall with a stunning dark pool at the base. The walk there is relatively easy and short and is serious bang for your buck, traversing gorgeous afro-montane forests. The beauty is difficult to describe.
Permit required to hike (available from Harold Porter Gardens entrance) and unfortunately no swimming in the river allowed.

A 1.5 km trail through fynbos vegetation, some stream crossings and a forest with a climb up a few ladders will take you from the Harold Porter Botanical Garden's entrance to the bottom of the magnificent Leopard's Kloof Waterfall. An incredible, towering waterfall with a spectacular mountain pool at the end of a short hike into the Leopard's Kloof.
