Poor service ..the receptionist tried her beat to assist in the absence of a waitress bt the food was not properly prepared jobs were not cooked correctly chicken was dry and overcooked

Shocking service, room not cleaned properly, room service delivered with no cutlery or condiments of any kind. DSTV did not work, jacuzzi not cleaned at all, sheets torn, returning to our room on our 3rd night there and we have 4 hand towels, no bath towels no gowns. 1 small bar of soap to use at basin bath and shower for 3 nights stay. I was so looking forward to my stay at this "boutique" hotel but was left with a bitter taste as I feel I just wasted R7500.00 on nothing. Breakfast is extremely limited, and average in taste and appearance, there is no minibar in the room, my room service plates sat outside the room for the better part of 12hrs.
The first room we were put in had a broken window in the shower, the Jacuzzi plug was broken, the cupboard was broken and so was the safe.
The second room had no safe, the manager seemed uninterested in my complaints and the staff did not communicate with her at all the various issues I had.
Don't expect a chocolate mint on your pillow at night, you get a hard cheap boiled sweet,
I would not recommend this hotel as a 4 star let alone a 5 star as they have displayed on the wall of the establishment.
The room was nice but the other things you expect when paying such prices left much to be desired.response / report this review -
