The lodge is nestled in the mountains and offers complete peace and quiet. The staff are great and the chalets have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Please keep in mind that this is not a luxury resort.

It was a long drive to the game reserve, quite off the beaten track. We didn't have much luck in spotting much animals other than the ostriches and gemsbok that loiter by the lodges, two wildebeest, a kudu and Tanda the cheetah due to rain and cold windy weather. Monwa was very helpful and friendly. The lodges were neat, clean, tidy and beds were comfy. The lodge was equipped with a fireplace and a braai/barbie/BBQ area and you can purchase firewood from the reception. Lodges are solar powered and have recycling bins. If you need to connect to the world, the main lodge provides you with Wi-Fi services and has a game room attached. Pool, bar and dining are all by the main lodge area. Bring a torch if you will be staying at the reserve with a big group of people in more than one lodge. Also, bring bottled water if you are particular about the taste of tap water. View from the stoep/porch/varanda is beautiful and makes you feel isolated from civilization.
