We booked a private tour in the Kruger to celebrate my brothers 50th. It was without a doubt one of the most magical holidays for our family - we cannot wait to go again. Every part of the booking process was seamless, the team were so helpful especially when it came to organizing activities for our kids and helping make the celebration unforgettable.

Great option if you’re in Cape Town and looking for a one day safari. Christian, our driver, was professional and allowed the trip to be seamless. Was able to see an assortment of animals and enjoy a lunch at the reserve. Definitely recommend!

Claire was great to work with when booking our safari trip. We had many choices and it was overwhelming to pick one out so she was able to highlight any subtle differences that we would not have noticed. We could have booked more for Cape Town and Johannesburg so it could have been a one-stop shop had we chosen to do so.

I made a spontaneous last minute decision to do an African Safari. I had the extreme pleasure organizing my trip with Bronwyn. Everything was flawless and absolutely superb. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Outstanding organization!

Booking experience was flawless although please be aware they don't actually own the safari experience so look for reviews about it elsewhere. In my case it was through Viva Safaris. Everything they arranged happened as expected.

Four friends and I booked a 3 night Safari in Balule Game Reserve and Kruger Park through African Budget Safaris. They were friendly and easy to communicate with, and guided me through the booking process. The name may say "Budget" but I was very impressed with the service and accommodations we received. The food was great all the way through (especially the Braii on the first night), hot showers even at the tent/treehouse camp, and knowledgable/friendly guides and other guests. They even accommodated our special request to arrange transport for an extra night at the Blyde Canyon for hiking purposes, which I would highly recommend. I would also recommend going in the winter in South Africa. The bush is more sparse, making it easier to spot animals, and due to the scarcity of water it is possible to see a great density and variety of animals congregating at watering holes in Kruger. I can confidently recommend African Budget Safaris to anyone looking for a superb and thrilling safari experience.

Great people to deal with. Very responsive.

Use skype to talk with them and you will see how helpful they really are.

*** Note that they require an insurance, but if you have your own, it is waived.

We had an excellent experience with African Budget Safaris, in particular our travel agent Claire Monson.
Claire was so amazingly helpful, so nice to talk to, so informative and so willing to help us for any questions we had. I am an avid traveler who has traveled in all 7 continents and 70 countries and in all my travels, I have never met a travel agent who is as willing to help as Claire. Any small questions, from vaccination, to money conversion, etc, she helped us with. As our timing for one of the tours did not work out, she even recommended another travel agency to me.
The African Budget Safaris’ website is also on the easiest and yet comprehensive travel websites that I have seen, where you can get answers to almost all your questions on the website. The feature, where you can search by date and by budget is amazing!
I highly recommend Africa Budget Safaris for the professionalism, their website, the comprehensive tours they offer, accessibility through Skype, and above and beyond for the having the best travel agent in the world, Claire Monson! Thank you African Budget Safaris to make it possible for travelers such as myself to experience other worlds so easily!

Had a great experience booking our African travel with these guys. Dealt with Glynis via email and she was very helpful and quick in responding to all my questions and making all my bookings. Note that African Budget Safaris is a travel agent and books tours through other companies. I booked a seven week trip between Johannesburg and Nairobi and a six day trip climbing Kilimanjaro. I would definitely book with these guys again and recommend them for any booking in southern and east Africa.
