Never again The reception was poor. The waitress was not very knowledgeable about certain dishes on the menu & we had to move tables because dirt FROM the ceiling was falling onto our plates Yuck

Very disappointed that one cannot pre book for a function at this restaurant
How does one book for a fun celebration if they will not allow you to book in advance but suggest that you come in an hour earlier to reserve your tables

Ordered a Chicken & Seafood platter which apparently comes with Queen Prawns. However the prawns I received were extremely tiny ones. Also there is a tendency for bugs and flies to be in the restaurant. Not a great dining experience. :(

Poor ambiance. Pathetic service . Waiter standing around and watching T.V. ordered the fish and it was served raw. Mussels have gone off and were rotten. Manager suggested he would cook me a new fish. The replacement fish was not the correct portion size and under cooked.

Poor Service firstly.. the manager is invisible and took more smoke breaks and never checked on anyone.. The supposed bread before the meal was like a hard madeira cake.. waiter never asked for flavour of order (lemon & herb) or spicy etc. Also never bothered to check in on us.. and lastly the food was drenched in so much sauce which is not usual at an adega.. never again. Finally the 10% tip to the waiter was added and it really did not match the service.. why go all out when they know they getting 10% even if they do nothing

10% service fee is compulsory and added on to the final bill, service not always worth the amount, especially since food is pricey.

The prawn pasta is to die for. Great food, flavorsome and excellent portions. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. Definitely worth frequenting.

Baby cockroach on the floor. Told the waiter about it they didnt bother she told the manager and he didnt care.. cockroach wondered around. Food was oily will never return.

Wasn't pleased with the service at all.
The manager needs a tip to smile.
Prawns tasted off and was told they Argentinian prawns which are pink in colour hence the difference in taste.

One of my best places. Try the 1 Kg prawns in lemon butter. Ask for the hot sauce to give your meal a great kick. Caution hot means hot.
The food is served in a heated dish to ensure your meal stays yummy. Don't leave town without going here.response / report this review
