Good food, very good service. The place offers a wide range of vegetarian options too. It is small and cosy, perfect for winters intimate outings.
Really nice vibe! I went there for a birthday party and we hired out a private room. The look and feel is nice and has an interesting layout. There’s a room that’s basically a home lounge. The only downfall for me was the snacks and appetizers weren’t the best. All in all a great venue
Good Mexican kitchen. Restaurant is split into multiple smaller rooms which keeps down the overall noise and creates a cosy atmosphere. They have also a room just with sofas.
Been going to Touch of Madness for many years. I moved away and went back to check it out. It's under new ownership, but it still felt the same. There have been some renovations and the menu updated.
Lovely food, staff are great. Hope to be back soon!
Real tasty food n gud coffee, relaxed environment. Good kind service. Decent prices
Where does one begin to describe this quaint, french inspired piece of eccentricity that is A touch of Madnesswellit is as the name suggests a true Touch of Madness. Nestled in a small side street in one of the trendiest parts of Cape Town, you'd be forgiven for thinking that this restaurant/bar is a hipster hangout. But it is far from it. A Touch of Madness is a breath of fresh air after a long day at work. It is a retreat from the boozy long street scene and it is posh enough to be a camps bay alternative.
The menu sports an eclectic mix of world wide street food and some local favorites. The word comfort comes to mind when thinking of their menu.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and the bar is the perfect stop along the way kind of place.
Their electro swing parties and poetry nights on Thursdays are a must try.
Kinda quirky, artsy place, but in a good way. And the food is excellent. I had the wings special and was happy with the amount of food. The cuts of meet were generous and tender, not stringy and shrivelled like wings I've had elsewhere.
Very quaint place! The decor is quite unusual. The staff are very polite and helpful and there was a good vegetarian range. The ambience is quite welcoming.
Not the best place around for food, but what an awesome vibe. The food has been improving. Lots of activities during week nights (chess, poetry, live music, quiz etc). You should check it out.
Unique ambience, stellar service, comfortable environment. Nice drinks selection; the only downside is their mediocre food. The items on the menu are somewhat intriguing though.
The atmosphere is quirky in a good way but the food is only okay, it's nothing memorable. I had a burger and it was okay. The table service was quite poor. They were slow. Very slow. We had to ask 4 times for water and it took 30 minutes to get it.
Interesting vibe, the coffee is amazing. the food is pretty good as well and there are daily specials and lunch specials that are very affordable. there is also a pretty big selection of Craft beers, they do lose a star because the food does take a bit of time to prepare but it is well worth i. go check it out kids
Great, funky little spot. Good service, fantastic food (best traditional burger in town), awesome vibe 😊
Touch of Madness is by far the best watering hole in Cape Town. They have fantastic craft beer on tap, no giant TV screens, and they host the only Irish Traditional Music session in Cape Town every Thursday.
This is a fun place in an interesting building. the food isn't too bad. Cool crowd!
Good craft beer selection and great bar snacks. The place was crowded, which may not be a negative depending on your preferences. The staff aren't desperately well educated about the wide variety of alcohol on offer, so expect some delays in receiving your order while they look for it on the computer.
Best place in Observatory. It's a large and spacious place, with a variety of monthly activities. Great for groups and individuals.
