The good experience started with the friendly welcome. I was touring on a mountain bike and the receptionist realised very quickly who was phoning because she had seen me ride past. They are cyclists too.
The room was ideal. It had everything I needed and everything worked. From the soap dispenser next to the sink to the soaps on the bed with the towels to the cutlery and crockery next to the microwave oven, someone has taken a lot of care planning and laying out the accommodation.
In the main house there is a comfortable lounge and a large, clean, well equipped and functional kitchen. The price was right too - excellent value for money.
