This hotel is under construction as of 2nd Jan 2018 and the website still states that the hotel rooms are available. DO NOT BOOK THE HOTEL.

Hotel is up the hill. Doors were locked when we checked in at 6am and it was 6 degrees outside. Was let in after repeated knocks on door. No phone in the room - we stayed on the 6th floor. Door doesn't close properly. Safe is wonky. Heater only works for 5 mins - that's how fast showers have to be. Cupboards were dirty. Refrigerator wasn't working. Heavy construction ongoing all day. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because of the Manager - Joseph who tried his best to accommodate us.

Best service ever!!.The location of this hotel is perfect. It's off the main drag which means it's more quiet than other hotels yet it's still 3 minutes around the corner from the main square, shops and restaurants. The room was lovely, everything you could need was provided, super clean and comfortable as well as a good size. The view from the room is amazing!! The staff were exceptionally helpful, thoughtful and friendly. We booked a trek through a different company (not the hotel) and the morning we left for the walk they surprised us by providing us with a bag of snacks for the day trip! They also provided us with sandwiches for the train trip back to Hanoi the following day. The breakfast is cooked to order and you can eat as much as you like. The reception staff and porter will do anything they can to help you have a wonderful time in Sapa.
