Owner took good care of us and organized a great 2D1N Sapa trekking tour, which included a homestay with a Hmong family, away from the main tourist home stays in Sapa. The room in the hotel was okay, same for food. The double bed slept fine, the extra single bed was firm. We had to move rooms during check in because of smoke from a fire, but the staff was very helpful with this. The room had some small issues but was fine for a night or two.

Old place, mediocre food. Booked as part of a tour and definitely not worth it. Place is acceptable clean, but needs lots of improvements. Inclusive meals are not that great. Breakfast does not even include coffee. Lunch and dinner mainly consist of fried stuff and rice, and quantities not enough to fill you up.
Staff lies about room availability. When we asked for a better room, we were told there was no water in the room, just to see a few hours later another group moving in.
As of may 2017 there is also constraction in the entrance (see picture) so it's noisy and dusty.would not recommend.
The only silver lining is the view from the room.

But you can find lots of other places in the area, so stay away

Had this booked together with a tour to Sa Pa. Good enough for a sleep. Food is good.

Good view, not expensive, provide by local tour, but not enough hot water for bathing, construction work outside the hotel.

We were placed on the fourth floor. Shower did not have enough pressure so not realy much watter comea out. Cold room with fire place. Fire wood extra 150.000 pay. Just days later we discovered much better and cleaner hotel for similar price. All inclusive meals were ok and tasty. Front desk reception is very often crowded with guests. It takes staff long time to assist guests. The storage room for luggage isn't safe at all!! Anybody can come and grab whatever they like. We chose this place as part of package tour. The room was freezing cold as temperature was 8 C at night, no extra blanket available.

Stayed here as a part of 3 days Sa Pa package. It was late December and the temperature in the room was 12° C during the afternoon. When you ask the hotel manager what is wrong you are explained that you have two options how to increase the temperature. First one is to rent a heater for 200000 VND - we tried it but electricity was not working for some time and one heater running for 3 hours just increased the temperature by 1 (one) °C. The second one is to buy wood for 60000 VND but it is only little bit of wood which you can burn easily in 30 minutes (or maximum 2 hours if you keep the fire small) but you will feel the difference in the room. So you end up buying more wood and keep waking up during the night to keep fire. Also forget about having hot shower as the pressure was super low (we were in the second floor). The storage room is not safe at all and don't expect to find your things at the same place you left them. All drinks are overpriced (but this was somehow expected as they were not included in the price) and you can be asked several times to move to another table before they start to serve food (which was ok but still the same). Overall I of course didn't have high expectations about the hotel but this was too much as you feel kind of blackmailed with the heating.

I was here as part of a two day hiking trip to Sapa, and only dropped by to store my luggage, eat breakfast/dinner, and shower (in a communal bathroom).

The food was decent, nothing extraordinary. The service, like other reviewers mentioned, was also nothing extraordinary. The owner or manager (I assume) appeared to had a habit of responding politely to some people and not to others. I fell into the latter group and I was ignored until I forced him to look at me.

The dining room had a less than appetizing smell. If you have to eat here try to go to the second floor balcony and eat there instead. At least the air will be fresh.

On my second day here there was a dead mouse in the middle of the first floor balcony walkway. It's been an adventure.
