Chris was just awesomestayed in close contact, worked through issues with me and did all kinds of things behind the scenes to help us close on time! Between Chris’ hard work and our outstanding real estate agent Michele Shinedling they worked as a team to make our experience first class!

Jim and his team have to be some of the best in the biz. They were extremely responsive, always available to answer our questions and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I never worried that they weren't doing everything they possibly could for us. I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone and if the need arises they will be my first call! Dave was awesome to work with! He was prompt with any answers we had , easy to reach at anytime and was very friendly! Dave was able to accomplish this effort when others could not due to detailed VA requirements. I would recommend Dave to anyone needing assistance with buying, refinancing or any other housing financing he’s GREAT!!!

Mario and the team at MiMutual Mortgage were wonderful to work with. When the sellers of our house demanded we use a conventional loan and close in under 30 days, Mario leaped into action and got everything done. I had the whole financing business explained to me clearly and so could choose my next steps better. Any doubts during the process were promptly answered and at the end everything was just the way it was told at the beginning. Very good experience!

Editors Michael Eckert and Liz Shepard do not care if incorrect information is printed and they refuse to print retractions in order to provide correct information. What is even worse is the way the Times Herald staff deliberately hides the truth from readers.
For example, as a Trustee of Cottrellville Township I often explained how disappointed I was that the small township of Cottrellville has the largest spending limit in the entire county before the supervisor is required to accept bids in order to reduce costs.
In Casco Township anything over $500 requires three bids. In East China Township it is $2,000 and requires three bids. But in Cottrellville it is $20,000 (yes, twenty-thousand)! And in Cottrellville only one bid is needed, so the board members often call a friend to do the work at an inflated price rather than accepting the low price from multiple bidders.
Editor Liz Shepard and writer Nicole Hayden wrote an article listing the spending limits of all cities and townships in the area. But the one they got wrong was Cottrellville - they incorrectly listed Cottrellville at $2,000 rather than $20,000.
When I used the Freedom of Information Act to provide Editors Michael Eckert and Liz Shepard with proof that Cottrellville's spending limit was in fact, $20,000, I was repeatedly ignored.
I then used the newspaper website to write a Comment explaining Cottrellville's spending limit was actually $20,000 - the highest in all of St. Clair County, not $2,000 as the article said. The Times Herald staff then deleted my online Comment!
So, I wrote the online Comment a second time - providing fact-based information in a completely professional way. And for the second time, The Times Herald deleted my Comment! But this time, the Times Herald permanently banned me from being able to write Comments on their newspaper website!
For some reason, the Times Herald staff did NOT want people to know the truth about tiny Cottrellville Township having the highest spending limit in all of St. Clair County.
Cottrellville's spending limit of $20,000 with only one required bid is truly corrupt. In comparison, Oakland County - one of the wealthiest Counties in the entire nation - has a spending limit of $25,000 and requires a minimum of three bids.response / report this review -
