Pretty good food, but they don't seem to have their act together. Not a smooth running operation. We encountered a few issues with service. Probably won't return. We were there mid afternoon, and the only patrons in the place. It may be better during evening hours.

I took six friends for dinner Saturday night. It was our first time and we couldn't be more pleased. The atmosphere was quiet and sophisticated. Our entrees were delicious and beautifully presented. The bread pudding dessert was everything a bread pudding should be - fabulous! If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Truly a treasure find.

This place is unbelievable. Truly a hidden gem. We've been twice now, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both were absolutely fantastic. The chef certainly knows what he is doing. And the service was wonderful! Christian was our server, and he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top-notch. We will definitely be back again, many times, and we plan to bring visitors here whenever they are in town!

This place is awesome!! Tonight was our first visit there and it didn't disappoint! This is leagues better than the Kettering Grill which used to be there, both by atmosphere and food. Service was awesome too. I ordered the California burger but was given a regular bacon cheeseburger instead, but that was fine by me because it was huge and perfect in preparation and flavor! The chef knows what he's doing. The children got spaghetti and even that was delicious! The prices are somewhat high ($17 for a burger) but the food and portions are well worth it. This place was very slow, which is a surprise for how good it is, but it was also rainy today and many might not know this place is there. If you blink, you'll miss it. If you think it's still the Kettering Grill you probably haven't been by in a long time. We had written the Kettering Grill off our list last year but decided to give it a try again. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Merit Grill had taken over. Our waiter said they've been there since 3/01/2017 and said, "Welcome to the family" when we said it was our first time there. The chef himself delivered the food. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Definitely a family owned and oriented restaurant. My new favorite place! I highly recommend!!

This restaurant is one of the best in the area. When you walk in, you are welcomed like family on Sunday afternoon. When you sit, you sit like royalty, and served as such too. The food by the way, is supreme. I couldn't believe we have such incredible food right here in this part of Ohio.

My suggestions: Ask for Cristian, he's amazing. (Along with Oscar and his brother who is the chef)

The fries are cooked to perfection, trust me and try it for yourself. If you're a salad person, don't worry, they got that too. Steak is a must, and the seafood is fresh. And for dessert, the bread pudding. That will give you the perfect night out at Merit Grill.

Four of us went for dinner. We were seated immediately and the service was good. I ordered the Chicken Parm at the waiters suggestion. It was fair but I would not order again. The chicken was highly breaded and appeared to be deep fried, crispy and dry. The spaghetti sauce was very bland and sparse. However, the others were very pleased with their food selections so I would go back again and give it another try.

We truly enjoyed our Easter morning breakfast at the Merit Grill. The food was delicious and Andy, our waiter, was accommodating and very congenial. All four of us were impressed with the quality of the food and the service. Easter morning was my second visit to Merit Grill; the first was for dinner a couple weeks before and that was an equally enjoyable experience.
